Kyle and Fleur and their staff are amazing. Not only is the Lodge set in the perfect spot as far as scenery goes BUT their food is absolutely delicious. It is home away from home and we will always go back!
Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Yasmin Bell (Owner of The Cat Nanny) who took great care of our little purr kid Yumi for a second time this time without our other little girl who crossed the rainbow bridge in October 2022, while we were away in Wales for friends wedding.
Yumi is a skittish cat when it comes to strangers as she was adopted and rescued by us as a feral cat. She’s a very cuddly and lovable cat but takes long to warm up to strangers.
However Yas was aware of this and would just sit by Yumi’s side and chat to her and give and respect her space and boundaries.
Yumi missed us and was very very happy and chirping when we got home after our trip.
But Yas did an amazing job of being there for Yumi and taking good care of her and her services are just outstanding so thank you Yas. ❤️🌸🌻

We made an impromptu stop there this afternoon and did not see the closed sign but one of the owners offered us a takeaway coffee or tea and we had a lovely chat with her. Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be going back to sample the food. The menu looked very inviting. Took a walk on the Glen and we were lost in Nature. Absolutely awesome and can't wait to go back for the full walk and lunch. Thanks for making a plan to help us out with coffee and tea. Lovely homely vibe.
