Built in 1933 by the Isle of Man Bank, it operated as a working Bank until 2017. Our beautiful Building has striking architectural features which have largely been preserved for the Public to enjoy. The uniqueness of the Building has been enhanced by Bonds to provide a wonderful dining experience. The Bank vaults have been restored and adapted as the wine cellars for the restaurant.
Great homemade food is at the heart of BONDS. The menu is refreshed regularly and offers vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options all cooked to the highest standards.
Bonds philosophy can be summed up in five words:
Consistency, Quality, Freshness, Seasonal and Precision.
As well as wonderful food, BONDS also has great wines and unique “bank related” cocktails.
BONDS restaurant is available for all special occasions and celebrations such as private functions and wedding receptions. It also caters for corporate events and meetings.
You are invited to sit back, relax and indulge in their seasonal menu and choose a bottle of wine from the varied but carefully cultivated wine cellar.

2 months agoRecently revamped with a new manager and menu. It's now more Italian bistro with some interesting choices on a fairly short menu. Food is fantastic and reasonably priced for the quality. Service was good though it's very slow, I'd let them know if you're in a hurry.

a month agoI just want to say a huge thank you to Saied and the team at Bonds. We held our company’s Christmas party at the restaurant and it is was an amazing evening from start to finish. The food was amazing and the staff were so polite. Such an enjoyable evening. Could not recommend Bonds enough :)

8 months agoAmazing customer service from the waiting on team. Very well mannered and professional. Lovely attention to detail. A little expensive for sides of carrots and broccoli considering portion size but lovely as a treat or special occasion.

7 months agoOutstanding service, the food was exceptional, the staff are so friendly, very attentive and the best espresso martini's on the iom. Would 100% recommend if your looking for a restaurant for that special occasion.

10 months agoSteak night offer advertised on website at £20 turned out to be £30 when we got the bill! Prices are going up generally, as we were told... but you fundamentally have to advertise the correct price. Food itself was good, and it is a nice ambience.
