The Isle of Man’s Number 1 Axe Throwing Venue Axe throwing is taking the world by storm and Mad Jack’s has brought it right to the heart of the Isle of Man, infusing retro vibes with arcade machines and old school games consoles. Not to mention an amazing soundtrack!
Our trained on-site team is made up of axe throwing coaches who will teach you everything you need to know. Our axperts will be on-hand throughout your session to support you, keep score, ensure safety rules are being obeyed, and most importantly, show you a good time!
Every session begins with a health and safety talk. Your axpert will then talk you through our scoring system and the games and challenges you can choose to play through. They will then demonstrate multiple techniques before you begin to throw like a Norse God yourself. You’ll even have the chance to win some great prizes!
The entertainment doesn’t end with axe throwing. We have some great arcade machines and retro games consoles dotted about the venue so there’s never any rush to leave immediately after a session .Please note Under-16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult
We believe in having fun at Mad Jack’s and there’s no reason people can’t have a drink while doing so. We operate a bring-your-own alcohol system. We supply buckets of ice to keep your drinks chilled. This also allows us to monitor how much alcohol people bring and consume, as the safety of our customers is our number one priority. Please note We reserve the right to refuse anyone we believe to be under the influence of alcohol before their session begins
We also have a well-stocked fridge full of non-alcoholic alternatives including a wide range of Monster energy drinks, waters and soft drinks.

By chance drove past this place coming off the ferry and glad we made a mental note to go check it out. We're so happy we did, we had such a fun time! The team there were really friendly, created such a fun atmosphere and were through with their info and encouragement! Axe throwing is surprising fun, we got to compete against the other people taking part. Really loved the vibe, most alive place on the island 😄 They went out of their way to take our drinks order, all in all it was a joy. Highly recommended!

The best place on Earth! Craft beers, axe throwing, retro games, cool decor... I didn't want to leave! The staff is chill and if you're lucky, you'll meet a cool dog mascot.

Visited here briefly on my first trip to the Isle of Man and I had my 2 boys with me aged 6 and 7. They loved playing Rayman on the consoles. Staff were all very friendly and fun and service was excellent. My boys also received a sticker and badge! Definitely coming back next time to throw some axes!

A completely new experience for the Isle of Man. We had a great time learning the skill of Axe Throwing. It's very safe and the staff are really friendly :) We also tried the food and it was really good, tempted to try the chips sharing dish next time. A great selection of arcade games and free use of the Retro games consoles! Will be back again! Thank you
