6 months agoLoved our stay . Very convenient location to restaurants ,the electric railway and to enjoy the promenade. Friendly staff and great hospitality. Good range of breakfast served in the bright and beautiful restaurant to start the day with. !

a year agoVery happy with this hotel. Clean, friendly service and we'll maintained. Will stay here again when I next go to the island. It is ideally located for the electric railway and there are a couple of pubs nearby. It is quite a walk into Douglas though. The sea view from the room was excellent.

a year agoI stayed for 3 nights in June 2022. The standard of the room and facilities was consistent with other good hotels I've stayed in in Douglas, but I think this hotel has more character than others. The decor in the common areas is reminiscent of a country house. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would happily visit again.

a year agoBusiness trip 14 days Overall the hotel looks good with a classic look but doesn’t take away from the quality and the room I received was more than enough to meet my needs; with Bedroom, living room and bathroom. It’s clean and very well maintained. Has a very well established restaurant and bar and a very good room service menu Personally I never felt very welcomed, well received or valued as a customer and more so my privacy was questioned and contested which I do not appreciate. To the point where manager had a go at me regarding my privacy all just to service an already tidy room. This was after the initial service they discarded personal properties. But Maybe a small over-sight. People make mistakes. I’d recommend the hotel. I just can’t vouch for my experience.

12 months agoGood location and great for the price. Would stay again. Lower service ranking as my flight in was delayed and there was no option to get any dinner at all. I don't really think this is acceptable.
