Welcome to Wick’d Soy Candles! Based in the heart of Douglas, the workshop can be found on the first floor of Tower House on Loch Promenade. Nestled in this relaxing location with stunning sea views, they take pride in using only the best ingredients to curate luxury soy wax candles, ensuring a clean and sustainable burn.
Prioritising your well-being, ingredients are both paraben and phthalate-free, providing fragrances that not only captivate your senses but also promote a healthier environment.
The Candle and Wax Melt workshops offer a serene 2-hour experience in our exceptionally cosy studio, allowing you to create unique items by crafting your very own fragrance. Wax melts include the use of an array of moulds, botanicals, colours, and shimmering mica to make your creation beautifully individual.
Join this adventure and enhance your surroundings with the warmth and glow of our artisan soy candles.
After discovering the harmful effects of paraffin wax, parabens, and phthalates commonly found in popular high street candles, they embarked on a mission to create safer alternatives. Paraffin wax has been linked to serious health issues, including cancer and respiratory problems, while parabens and phthalates pose risks to both health and the environment.
Driven by a commitment to safety and sustainability, they underwent extensive training and testing to craft candles free from harmful toxins.
As a family deeply invested in environmental consciousness, they ensure that our products and packaging are sustainably sourced and recyclable.
Their journey extends beyond our workshop in the Isle of Man; it’s a commitment to providing homes everywhere with candles that prioritise health, safety, and the planet.

a year agoToys and baby play arrea are all damaged, dirty, and do not work. Food overloaded with cheese and over priced... the only good thing about the place is the idea of coffe and play arrea under one roof

7 years agoWe found the cafe by passing past and glad we found it as it's probably the only place in town that has a play area for the children. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Found the food reasonably priced but unfortunately they don't have a variety of cakes which is let down. The play are has been updated but there are steps to go inside and would definitely remove them and make I a slope as the children fall over them.
