Versa is a restaurant concept based on the Isle of Man focused on sustainability. The menus change weekly to truly reflect the season, and if it’s not Manx, it doesn’t come through the door. If the ingredients we use are not foraged, they have been sourced from a very local supplier. They offer a relaxed brunch during the day and only tasting menus by night. All diets, allergies, and food restrictions are easily catered for.

2 years agoOur group of four had a lovely 8 course meal at Versa at the beginning of July. The venue itself is small and intimate, and run by the lovely Pippa and Grace. At Versa, you can choose from a 5 or 8 course menu (+ extras), and the restaurant is BYOB, so you are able to bring some wine or beers for a small corkage fee. Pippa can accommodate dietary requirements (x2 vegetarians in our group) if you let her know when booking. The food at Versa is all sourced locally, with sustainability at the heart of the restaurant's ethos. During the meal, Pippa introduced each course and explained where she had gathered the ingredients. These meant we had an amazingly personal service, which felt very special. The balance of courses was great, with our personal favourites the focaccia, triple cooked carrot and sponge cake. Our group were so impressed, that we've been discussing the 'best carrot of our life' ever since. Overall, Versa was a fantastic experience, and we were all very impressed with the delicious food and Pippa's passion. We look forward to visiting in the future and trying some more dishes. Thank you!

2 years agoThe BEST restaurant in Port Erin! I am in love with this place; the food is exceptional and everything is locally sourced. This restaurant deserves more attention and fast. The women running the establishment really care about food, their community and their customers; and it really shows. Each ingredient they use has its own backstory, so if you are interested in hearing about what goes into making such fine dishes, they will certainly let you know. I first popped in for a spot of brunch and the food was so marvelous, I reserved a table for dinner at my earliest convenience. Best decision I made my entire trip to the island. I will definitely return to Versa when I'm next in the Isle of Man.

3 years agoI wouldn't say it like going for dinner, more of a tasting experience that's nicely filling. Menu changes all the time so every visit it different. Staff are very nice and helpful. Also it's bring you bottle, cheap wine for everyone

3 years agoWe went here for a friend’s birthday meal. We had the whole restaurant to ourselves and had the 5 course menu. Concept was great. Me and husband loved pretty much everything. Majority of the group had a great time.
