a month agoThought this hotel was outstanding. Staff were really polite and friendly not to mention helpful. The room we stayed in was clean, modern and well equipped with a very comfortable large bed, a mini fridge and dressing gowns and slippers. Breakfast was also very good. No complaints whatsoever.

4 weeks agoGreat location for Liverpool university. 15 minute walk to city centre. Very pleasant staff. Clean rooms, had all amenities that we needed. Nice breakfast. Particularly liked the ambience of the restaurant on first floor. We really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel ❤️

3 weeks agoWe stayed in room 1101 with 3 adults and a 1-year-old and had a lovely stay. The room was modern, very clean, and comfortable — everything felt new and well-maintained. The air conditioning was a lifesaver during the heat wave, keeping the room cool and perfect for relaxing after a hot day. The view from the room was absolutely spectacular, one of the highlights of our stay. A cot bed was requested in advance and was already set up when we arrived, which made things really convenient. Staff were polite and helpful throughout. A couple of things to note: the room didn’t have a bathtub as listed on Agoda, which was a bit disappointing since we were traveling with a baby. Also, parking is a 3-minute walk from the hotel and costs £13 per night. Overall, a great stay — cool, clean, and family-friendly. Would happily return!

a week agoGreat location for the airport, decent for the city We chose this hotel for its easy access to John Lennon Airport, just 20 mins away, while still being walkable to Liverpool city centre. If you’re here for sightseeing, be prepared for a bit of a stroll. Parking was handy and discounted at £13/night. Surprisingly good food in the restaurant being much better than expected for a hotel, so definitely worth a try. Rooms were comfortable, though the air con wasn’t working in either of ours. Still, stayed around 24°C so sleep wasn’t an issue. Overall, a good stay.

From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, especially for our daughter. A huge thank you to Tom and Steven, who were incredibly polite, helpful, and genuinely kind throughout our stay. They made us feel so welcome and added a personal touch that made all the difference. Whether it was helping with little details or simply checking in to make sure everything was perfect, their service was exceptional. The team really pulled out all the stops to make my daughter feel celebrated — and she hasn’t stopped smiling since! We’re so grateful for the thoughtful touches and warm hospitality. Thank you, Novotel, for a truly memorable stay. We’ll definitely be back!
