Cubbon House is a 4 Star Silver B&B Edwardian building.
Cubbon House are ideally situated on the promenade of the Island’s capital of Douglas, adjacent to the main shopping area. They are just a 5 minute walk from the Sea-Terminal, which is ideal if you are traveling by Boat. 20 minutes from the Airport if you are traveling by car or bus.
If you are visiting the Isle of Man for pleasure, Douglas is the centre for entertainment, sport and transportation. From the Cubbon House, a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, wine bars and pubs which are all within a walking distance. Bus stops are outside the Cubbon House B&B so sightseeing and traveling around the island without a car is made easy.
During the summer months you can explore the Island, the North of the Island visiting places like Laxey, Snaefel, and Ramsey by the Electric Trams and south of the Island, visiting places Castletown, Port Erin and Port St Mary by the Steam Railways.
Should business be the reason for your visit, the majority of the Isle of Man’s companies are located in Douglas. The Cubbon House B&B is in the centre of the town and you can visit a large number of them on foot which is very time efficient. There is a guest lounge on the ground floor which has a smart TV for Guests to use. Wi-Fi is free of charge and is throughout the B&B. tHE Cubbon House B&B does not have a Resident’s bar and guests prefer to visit the nearby pubs which are open till late.

a month agoWonderful! We stayed for three nights, from 22nd February 2024. Our hosts, Paul and Lisa were friendly and informative and nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a sea view room with ensuite that was very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were fabulous and cooked to perfection. We had a wonderful time touring various places and dining out in the local community. Thank you so much Lisa and Paul, we will definitely be returning!

3 months agoBrilliant I absolutely loved it, very helpful and very friendly. Always asked me where I was going on the Island and how I was. It felt like I had known them for years. When I return to the island this would be my go 2 place.

a year agoLovely place to stay. Beds so comfortable I had the best 3 nights sleep. Room and bathroom both clean and modern. Full breakfast.. worth coming off my diet. Very tasty..with fresh fruit yogurt and cereal ...with various options ... Town sorry City now ..bars, restaurants all on the doorstep. Would definitely stay here again . a year agoA lovely b&b , great hosts and extremely clean. A good breakfast that sets you up for the day. Parking available out of hrs, so ok if your using the car during the day.

a year agoThis is a lovely B&B in the heart of Douglas on the promenade. Paul and Lisa are the best hosts, so helpful and really nice people. The rooms are up stairs, but if that's not an issue for you, try and get one with a view of the promenade and bay. Plenty of hot water in the shower!! Plenty of lights and mirrors. Not large room but for one person it was fine.
