3 months agoThe hotel itself was lovely. All of the staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful. So I gave them a 5 star for their service. Unfortunately on 2 of the evenings we ate in the bar and then the restaurant. The service in there was extremely slow. The gluten free bar food I chose was very poor. In the restaurant we were waiting so long for our food to be brought out, it was so late I could hardly eat it. I would return to this hotel, but not sure I would eat there in the evening.

9 months agoAbsolutely brilliant hotel, I stay frequently while working on the Island. Meticulously clean rooms, delicious breakfasts (I guarantee the scrambled egg is the best you have ever tasted) friendly welcoming team who make us feel totally at home. Cheers 👍

3 months agoGreat hotel, great location. Walking distance to Douglas shops, restaurants and town. Have been several times before always like to go back.

9 months agoI spent a couple of nights at this hotel owing to flight cancellations. The hotel staff were friendly and obliging; they made the best of a bad situation. Breakfast and dinner were real good, as were the mostly misty views over Douglas promenade.

2 years agoVery happy with this hotel. Clean, friendly service and we'll maintained. Will stay here again when I next go to the island. It is ideally located for the electric railway and there are a couple of pubs nearby. It is quite a walk into Douglas though. The sea view from the room was excellent.
