Surfside is situated on Falcons Hill in Port Erin. Turn left out of the front door, and it is 40 yards to the beach and the wonderful promenade. Turn right, and within 100 yards you are in the centre of the village, close to shops, cafes and restaurants – yet stay inside, and you have total seclusion.Total seclusion yes – but not at the expense of wonderful views from the panoramic window in the main living room, which looks west to the Mountains of Mourne – imagine this as a backdrop to a wonderful sunset! From outside, Surfside looks deceptively small, but this is a little misleading! As the property is built into the hillside, the main living room, study and kitchen are on the “first floor”. Going downstairs you will find two bedrooms, bathroom with separate shower, utility room and a large conservatory – outside the conservatory there is an enclosed ornamental garden. The conservatory is generously furnished with appropriately styled tables, chairs and soft furnishings. The building is centrally heated, and the period pine flooring on the first floor provides the final “country cottage” feel. If you’re looking for a romantic getaway, Surfside has a traditional log burner which gives the cottage a wonderful cosy atmosphere!Ample car parking is available near the property.
