The Sound, at the very southern tip of the Isle of Man, is a beautiful place to appreciate the Island’s coastal beauty, whether it is on a sunny summer afternoon or a dramatic winter morning.

The Sound cafe offers stunning panoramic views of the Calf of Man and the surrounding countryside, paired with delicious Manx food, indoor and outdoor seating, and a friendly welcome.

Try some famed Manx seafood or locally sourced mains, followed by a piping hot drink and one of the wide selection of freshly baked cakes and goodies – or maybe a cheeky Davidson’s Manx ice cream – in a comfortable and relaxed setting.

Visited in search of Queenie's, and weren't disappointed. Modern cafe, set up to deal with the tour bus crowd that was finishing lunch as we arrived. Fantastic views of the Calf of Man. Good for seal watching. Large plate of Queenie's with bread.

The chips are amazing! The staff are friendly and efficient and the coffee is good, although alternative milks (oat, soya, etc.) are very expensive (+75p)! Why are lower carbon choices still so expensive?! Limited range of vegan cakes (we had one to choose from, for example). They gave me a cardboard eco box to take away what we couldn’t eat, so that’s nice... ❤️🌍🌱

What a stunning location with fab view from this excellent cafe.. was here 25/7/23 for breakfast, blue skies, but I’d say it’s just as dramatic on a stormy day. Don’t miss this place!! Definitely highlight my short trip ..

Really nice location. You can see and hear the seals howling. Loads of parking. We cycled. Great going down...its the going back up..lucky its only 1mile! Portions are generous and the selection of cakes we saw are all home made. We had the Biscoff and is really nice. Not very biscoff'y but still really nice.

An absolutely delightful cafe with stunning views! We went there on a weekday morning so it was quieter (we were warned that the place would be bustling and loud on a weekend). Good food choice and spacious inside. Highly recommend coming to The Sound Cafe for a visual and edible treat!
