The Sound, at the very southern tip of the Isle of Man, is a beautiful place to appreciate the Island’s coastal beauty, whether it is on a sunny summer afternoon or a dramatic winter morning.
The Sound cafe offers stunning panoramic views of the Calf of Man and the surrounding countryside, paired with delicious Manx food, indoor and outdoor seating, and a friendly welcome.
Try some famed Manx seafood or locally sourced mains, followed by a piping hot drink and one of the wide selection of freshly baked cakes and goodies – or maybe a cheeky Davidson’s Manx ice cream – in a comfortable and relaxed setting.

An absolutely delightful cafe with stunning views! We went there on a weekday morning so it was quieter (we were warned that the place would be bustling and loud on a weekend). Good food choice and spacious inside. Highly recommend coming to The Sound Cafe for a visual and edible treat!

For sheer beauty of the environment, the sound cafe takes some beating! Nestled in one corner of the Isle of Man, in a little suntrap, it's great. Beautiful walks and sea shore life help create a great environment! Staff were very helpful and good range of cakes and drinks in the shop. Worth a look!

Lovely spot for lunch or just coffee & cake. Take in the beautiful views of the Calf of Man, see some seals & other wildlife. Go for a walk along the coastal path or bring your motorbike and your mates. You can also catch the bus to get there. Service very friendly and quick. Gluten free and vegan options and a fabulous choice of cakes including a chocolate button cake & a gluten free vegan victoria sponge (pictured).

Incredible place for a cafe. The views are insane. If you are visiting the isle of man you need to come here. The actual food in the cafe is good too . Great selection of many different typical cafe things. The coffee is great!

Atmosphere is comfortable, and the panoramic view of The Calf is stunning. Also the food is excellent! The only setback is, there’s no bus to this place (Except summer), have to walk all the way from Port St. Mary/Erin if you don’t have a car
